Some new listings on e-bay...

I put a few more things up for auction on e-bay today. I decided to try a few different things this time. The baby blanket is still up for auction and now there's a book-Heaven and Earth by Nora Robers, a handmade, crocheted shawl (my first one), and I've re-listed the handmade girls hat. I'll be putting up a bracelet soon but I need to find out more about it first.

Another update...

Just another update on what's been going on with the auctions. So far STILL no luck selling the blanket. I have tried a few different categories and I've lowered my price and the s&h quotes and again there's someone watching so that's always good.

I've also started to bid on a couple of items. I'm bidding on a 1" Flat Iron and a beautiful silver summer dress. Both auctions have a few days left on them but so far, I'm the highest bidder. If I do win these auctions there will be comments left from the people I bought them from saying how it was working with me and I think that will only help in selling because it's a way of showing people that I'm trustworthy and that I do what I've committed to do. Again, wish me luck!

What's been going on...

So far nothing has been sold. At the moment I have two people watching the scarf and one bidder. There's a little over an hour left so I hoping for some last minute action on it. As for the blanket, that is still up for auction. The last time around the bidding went to $20, which still didn't meet my reserve price. I took the reserve price off and put the lowest bid at $34.99. I don't want to lower that price because it takes hours and hours to make a blanket and I won't really be making money on it if it's lower. I just learned how to make shawls and I plan on having some of those go up for auction soon. I'm playing around with the pattern and different types of yarn. They'll be mostly all season shawls.
