It's been a while...

since I've update this blog! Since my last post, I have crocheted a few different things but my latest interest has been in making jewelry. Here are a few picture of some bracelets and earrings I have made. These have precious and semi-precious stones and swarovski crystals.

Granny Square Slippers

Here's a picture of the granny square slippers I made for myself. I think they turned out pretty cute. I also started making doilies and as soon as I finish the one I'm working on I'll post it.

One more craft...

I can now add woodworking to my craft resume! Sunday I woke up just wanting to build something, so with Lloyd showing me how to use some of his tools I made this stand for our bathroom! Lloyd was there as a guide when I needed him but he let me do this completely on my own. Now I want to build all kinds of things! The picture isn't the best because I had just finished putting on the last coat of paint and I couldn't really move it.

Finally...

The whole reason I started all of the ebay stuff was to sell my crafts. I was able to sell everything under the sun EXCEPT the things I've made. Finally, I'm selling a crocheted shawl! It was one of the fastest and easiest things I've crocheted and it's selling for $12.99. I'm so excited! I'm hoping that it's not just a one time thing and that other things I've done will sell too!

Well, I haven't had very much luck with selling any of my crafts on ebay at all! I am selling a ton of other things for me and Lloyd but the crafts just haven't been going anywhere! I am looking into other sites that sell only crafts. Maybe I'll have better luck with one of them!

I've been crocheting my little fingers off making blankets, shawls and the halter top. I'm really proud of this! I didn't use a pattern, I just started making it and I couldn't believe how well it turned out! Now that I know how to make them, I'm excited about playing around with different stitches and making different ones.

New Baby Blankets....

I have just put the new baby blankets up for auction! I'm really excited and am hoping these will go over better than the other one!
